Cowgirl Party

Last week we celebrated Avery’s 3^rd birthday with the cutest Cowgirl themed party.  This party was by far one of our favorite parties yet. We wanted to focus on the kid’s table, making every detail extra special for each cowgirl and cowboy.  On each place setting we included everything they would need for the perfect western lunch, wooden utensils and all! Every place setting was accompanied with a treat bag that included some of the birthday girl's favorite items; Jump rope, bubbles, bouncy balls, a toy horse and of course candy. 

To eat we prepared some of Avery’s favorite foods! Typical for any 3 year old to love, we ate peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, watermelon, powdered doughnuts, chips and cookies!  We wanted the cake to be feminine yet simple, so we opted for horizontal ruffles.  Natalie from The Cake Market did an amazing job making our vision come to life.  

The best moment of the party was the live pony! What little girl doesn’t want a pony at her birthday party?!  To make sure each kid was geared up for the pony ride, we left a cowboy hat on each of their hay seats. The kids were able to pet the pony and go on a quick ride so they really felt like a cowgirl and cowboy!

Tassel Garland + Nursery = Darling

Gender Reveal Party

Last weekend we had a gender reveal party with a modern twist.  We decided to try something different and go with bold colors and stripes, rather than the typical pink and blue colors that are often used for gender reveal parties.  We love how it turned out! Now don't get us wrong, we think cutting into a cake filled with pink or blue frosting is a cute way to reveal the sex of the baby.  But we wanted to get all of the guests involved in the fun.  The soon to be mom and dad popped an over sized balloon filled with colored confetti and each guest had their own confetti popper to pop at the same time as the parents.  It was so fun to hear everyone scream with excitement when they saw the pink confetti!

Vintage Book Themed Baby Shower

Our very own Adorn girl, Amanda is having her sweet little baby today!  We are so excited to see this little beauty so we thought we would share pictures of her gorgeous Vintage Book themed baby shower.  The invitations, food labels, floral garland and cupcake toppers will be available in our shop soon! 

A special thank you to Amanda's sister Ashlii for throwing such an amazing party and Emily Jackson for all of her help and letting us use her gorgeous home! We are convinced any party would be amazing in that kitchen!
